Made-to-measure furniture studio · Barcelona

About our bespoke furniture studio in Barcelona

Design and fitting are not separate conversations here. The route through the building and the final junctions are considered while the furniture is still on paper.

initial guidance · No obligation

Do you have an idea or a room that needs a solution?

With photographs, town or area and approximate measurements we can tell you what information is missing

Our way of designing

Good design brings every decision into the right order

Made-to-measure furniture doesn't start by choosing a colour. It starts by understanding what needs to be stored, how it will be used, what limits the room has and how it can be installed without improvisations.

01

Usage and capacity

We define what the furniture needs to do, who uses it and how often

02

The real space

We check walls, steps, doors, skirting, installations, lights and access route

03

Materials chosen for a reason

The manager proposes coherent combinations for resistance, maintenance, appearance and investment

04

Manufacturing and fitting

Construction, delivery, fixings, junctions and finishing are planned before producing

Getting started is easier than it seems

You describe the need; we organise the project

You do not need to know technical solutions or have definitive measurements to ask for an initial guidance

you send us
  • Type of furniture or room
  • town or area and photographs of the space
  • Approximate measurements, if you have them
  • Visual references and priorities
  • Planned investment level
The manager helps you define
  • Necessary distribution and capacity
  • Suitable materials and finishes
  • Hardware and functional solutions
  • Manufacturing and installation scope
  • Next step to accurately assess

A recommendation for each project

The finish matters, but it doesn't work alone

The result also depends on the support, the thickness, the edges, the hardware and the way of installation. That's why the manager reviews the complete combination and explains which options make sense for your case.

An understandable process

Each stage prepares the next

Working in phases allows you to validate decisions, avoid assumptions and keep the scope clear before going into production

  1. 01initial guidance

We review needs, photographs, location, references, approximate measurements and priorities

  2. 02Survey and proposal

We check dimensions and define distribution, materials, fittings and technical conditions

  3. 03Budget and validation

We confirm scope, items, finishes and necessary decisions before manufacturing

  4. 04Manufacturing and installation

We coordinate production, delivery, fitting, adjustments, finishing touches and a final review

What can you expect

Criterion, context and an understandable scope

We do not expect you to know materials, hardware or construction solutions. Our job is to compare the relevant alternatives, explain their differences and help you decide with useful information.

02clearly scoped quotation

The proposal allows us to understand what is manufactured, what is installed and what must be confirmed

03Validation before production

Necessary measurements and decisions are checked before starting manufacturing

04Coordinated fitting

access routes, fixings, junctions, adjustments and final review are part of the planning

The location is also part of the project

Before coordinating the measurement we review the town or area, the type of property and the access conditions. This information helps to predict delivery, carrying parts into the property, schedules and organisation of fitting.

Questions about the study and the process

The initial guidance does not require exact measurements or closed technical decisions

What information do you need to get started?

Type of furniture, town or area, photographs, approximate measurements, main use and some visual reference if you have it. If something is missing, we will tell you what information we need

Do you help choose materials and finishes?

Yes. A manager reviews the conditions of the project and explains what combinations make sense for use, maintenance, appearance and budget

Is the measurement done before manufacturing?

Yes. The dimensions necessary for production are checked and the access and fitting conditions are reviewed before starting manufacturing.

Can I enquire even if I don't have exact measurements yet?

Yes. Photographs, a reference and approximate measurements are usually enough to prepare an initial guidance and tell you what is missing

Do you only work in homes?

No. We also study commercial furniture and collaborations with architects, interior designers, renovations and other professionals

A project grounded in the property

The practical questions behind a project in Barcelona

Some projects arrive with plans and a finish schedule; others begin with phone photographs. Both can progress well when the assumptions are made visible early.

01

Describe the problem before the product

You do not need trade vocabulary. Tell us what gets left out, what feels awkward and what you reach for every day. Add a clear brief, a measured room and timely answers at the approval stages, and the conversation has a solid place to begin.

One useful photograph shows the whole wall; another shows the awkward detail. Together they say more than a tightly cropped inspiration image.

02

Rough dimensions first; verified dimensions later

Older walls are rarely perfect and recent renovations can hide their own surprises. The measured visit records the useful irregularities, not merely the largest number on each wall.

Where another trade will move a service or finish a wall, the responsibility and timing are written down. Measuring an unfinished condition without that note would create false confidence.

03

Materials need a reason

Two materials can look similar on a screen and behave very differently in daily use. We discuss that gap plainly, especially where fingerprints, water, heat or frequent opening matter.

If two options are genuinely equivalent for the brief, we say so. Material advice should reduce uncertainty, not invent distinctions to justify a longer specification.

04

Fitting begins on paper

A beautiful elevation is not enough if it cannot enter the building or be adjusted safely. The fitting sequence is considered while the drawings can still respond.

For houses, we may be planning several floor changes. For flats, the lift and corridor often set the practical limit. Neither should be left to the delivery team to discover.

05

Price becomes useful when the assumptions are visible

Where the budget needs discipline, we protect the parts that work hardest: sensible internals, reliable moving hardware and a layout that uses the room well. Decorative upgrades can remain choices.

A written exclusion is as useful as an inclusion. It prevents assumptions about electrical work, decoration, appliances or removal of existing furniture.

06

One clear answer at a time

After reviewing the information, we tell you what is viable, what is still uncertain and whether a measured visit is the right next step. There is no need to stage the room before sending photographs.

Clients should leave each stage knowing what they need to decide and what remains with us. Silence is not treated as approval.
