“A kitchen with an island sounded simple until we looked at the access and the existing services. We wanted to check circulation, seating and services before fixing the island size. Our property in Barcelona made tall ceilings part of the design rather than a delivery-day problem. Those constraints were dealt with in the drawings, so fitting day was calm and well organised. The storage is easy to reach and there are no filler spaces that serve no purpose.”
