What is prepared before components leave

Accuracy does not end at cutting. Edges, drilling, grain direction and component order all affect the result in the home.

Drawing and parts list

Modules, sizes, thicknesses and direction of visible faces are identified.

Cutting and edges

Each panel gets a detail suited to its material and the conditions where it will be fitted.

Machining

Bores and recesses match specific hardware and the planned opening action.

Visual continuity

Approved veneer or printed-grain direction is checked across relevant fronts.

Component check

Fronts and parts are compared with the approved version before protection for delivery.

Ready for fitting

Component order and size consider the entrance, lift, stairs and working space.

What a workshop photograph cannot show

The finished piece depends on both an agreed specification and preparation for installation.

The version that governs the work

The workshop uses the drawing and materials approved after the final quotation. A changed dimension or reference is assessed before work continues.

Edges are not all the same

A visible front, hidden interior and area near water may need different treatments. Edges are specified with the board and checked where exposed.

Hardware planned in the panel

A runner needs a particular length, space and fixing. Soft closing is not chosen after all the holes have been drilled.

Protection for delivery

A finished part can be damaged in transit. Packing and unloading order are planned so components reach the room ready for fitting.

Workshop visits

If you wish to see the production space, ask about availability and agree the place and date before travelling. A visit is not an automatic part of every order.

A drawing the fitter can use

Fitters need to identify each component, its visible face, drilling and assembly order. The parts list is therefore more than dimensions for a cutting machine: it connects production with the last stage in the home. If a wall is out of square, the planned scribed piece can be adjusted on site without changing the main front.
