How we work, step by step
These steps connect the first estimate to the final fitting. Measurements and specification come before the binding price.
Initial estimate
Share the address, room photos, approximate measurements and the furniture you have in mind. We outline a price range to be checked against the measured space.
Measured survey
At the property we record the relevant dimensions, services and wall conditions. We also check how the pieces can enter the building.
Design, when required
If drawings or a design are needed, we develop them after the survey. The design work is included at no extra charge when you order us to manufacture to that project.
Detailed quotation
With the layout and specification agreed, we set out materials, fittings, delivery, installation and the final amount in writing.
Approval and deposit
You confirm the proposal and pay the deposit stated in the quotation. This authorises the production order.
Workshop production
We cut, finish and prepare the components according to the approved drawings and dimensions.
Fitting on site
The team delivers and assembles the furniture, then adjusts fronts, hinges and visible joints.
Review with you
Before closing the job, we go through doors, drawers and finishes together and record anything that needs a final adjustment.

We measure each side separately. Two different pieces may work better than forced symmetry, while sharing a material or detail.
Narrower on one side
A shallow drawer or reduced top leaves room to reach the bedroom door.
Wall-hung table
It keeps the floor clear where the wall can take the proposed fixing; we check the structure first.
Next to a wardrobe
The bedside drawer and wardrobe door need compatible opening space, tested on the plan.

Before deciding
Bedside table questions
Can the two sides be different?＋
Yes. One may have drawers and the other a narrow shelf. A shared finish or height can still make them read as a pair.
What wall is needed for a floating table?＋
That depends on the wall construction and anticipated load. We check both before specifying fixings.
What is a comfortable height?＋
We use the actual mattress height and the items you leave on top rather than an isolated standard dimension.

Bespoke bedside units: what fits beside the bed
Unit height is checked against the finished mattress. We also measure the route out of bed and space for an open drawer.
Two identical units are not always useful. A door or radiator on one side may call for different depth, support or opening.
Lamp, charger, glasses and books tell us how much surface and storage you need. Sockets and switches remain reachable.
Send a room photograph with the bed, mattress height and clear width on both sides. Fixings and dimensions are finalised during the survey.
