A useful drawer depends on its contents and the room in front needed to pull it out. We measure both before deciding the number of levels.
Designed for your space
A large drawer is no use if it cannot open fully
Before drawing fronts we list the clothes or objects going inside and measure the free space in front. Runners, depth and dividers follow those two facts.
Clear travel
Pull-out space is tested with bed, doors and rugs in place.
Runners for the load
Hardware follows expected weight and frequency of use.
Existing cabinets
A unit can be fitted into a wardrobe after its opening is surveyed.
Our process
How we work, step by step
These steps connect the first estimate to the final fitting. Measurements and specification come before the binding price.
Initial estimate
Share the address, room photos, approximate measurements and the furniture you have in mind. We outline a price range to be checked against the measured space.
Measured survey
At the property we record the relevant dimensions, services and wall conditions. We also check how the pieces can enter the building.
Design, when required
If drawings or a design are needed, we develop them after the survey. The design work is included at no extra charge when you order us to manufacture to that project.
Detailed quotation
With the layout and specification agreed, we set out materials, fittings, delivery, installation and the final amount in writing.
Approval and deposit
You confirm the proposal and pay the deposit stated in the quotation. This authorises the production order.
Workshop production
We cut, finish and prepare the components according to the approved drawings and dimensions.
Fitting on site
The team delivers and assembles the furniture, then adjusts fronts, hinges and visible joints.
Review with you
Before closing the job, we go through doors, drawers and finishes together and record anything that needs a final adjustment.

Can a unit be added to an existing wardrobe?＋
Often, after measuring the opening, hinges and door movement. The insert follows those limits.
How much weight can a drawer hold?＋
That depends on runner, width and construction. We specify it for the intended contents rather than assume one capacity.
Should every drawer be deep?＋
No. Small items are often easier to arrange in a shallow tray with divisions.

Bespoke drawer units: useful space behind the front
Outside width is not usable drawer width. Runners, sides and clearances take space, so we start with the contents you need to store.
Full extension is checked against the bed and wardrobe doors. A deep drawer is little use if it cannot open fully.
Runners follow load and frequency of use. Heights can vary for folded clothes, accessories and bulky objects rather than repeating one module.
Send recess photographs, available depth and an approximate contents list. A visit confirms dimensions and fixing positions.
